It seems like there is a new food periodical launching every other month. As both a food nerd and fan of print, I’m digging this trend and hope it lasts. In the meantime, the influx of print mags means I put up a few more shelves in the shop to create a little library section. My back was sore for days, but it was worth it.
Anyone interested in home goods, interior design, and food must know about Mjölk, the fabulous Canadian gallery and shop that was doing the minimalist Japanese/Scandi thing before it was a “thing.” Well, John and Juli have created their own publishing imprint and have unveiled their first book—Mjölk: Volume 1. It’s a beautifully curated guide to Stockholm, Reykjavik, and Asahikawa, Japan. It’s already close to selling out, so better claim yours before we’re out of stock!
We also have the latest issue of Kinfolk as well. Perfect weekend reading material. Happy Friday!
